2007 Christmas Party

We had the Christmas Party at Kowloon Shangri-la Hotel this year. The theme was White Christmas. Many people dressed in white clothes. Again, there was a lucky draw but I could not get any prize this time!

Visit HK Disneyland

Got a day leave and visited Disneyland. It was my second time to be there. However, the parade stopped performing this time as they were preparing for Christmas parade.

The park was not crowded but we still needed to queue up for about 10 minutes for some games.

Yoga Course

Joined a Yoga Course that sponsored by my company. All 12 participants are from my team!

It is the second time in a half year.

Farewell Dinner

Sept 14 was the last work day for my colleague. We got together to have a farewell dinner at Tsimshatsui. I started planning the dinner in end of Aug. Hope it could bring her an unforgettable night.

(I saw a movie, Amelie From Montmartre天使愛美麗, in a few years ago. The story is about a young woman, Amelie, realizes that the way to happiness and devote her life to make others happy. Amelie & I have been sharing the same mission!)

Visited the Exhibition of "Splendour & Mystery of Ancient Shu - Cultural Relics from Sanxingdui & Jinsha" at HK Heritage Museum yesterday.

Typhoon Day

I was back to office 9:30am. After checked few emails, I found that it was about the time to go to cinema to attend the quarterly company meeting. It was raining outside. Fortunately, HR arranged mini-buses to transfer us to the cinema although it is quite near our office building.

The meeting was finished around 11:00am and we could go for lunch earlier. All of us were very happy as we could have nearly 2.5hrs for lunch. One of the colleagues suggested having lunch at karaoke. Oh! Many colleagues have already been there.

When we were back to office, worked for a while and then left at 2:30pm since typhoon signal no. 8 would be hoisted.

Hey! Let me count my working hour today - It is only 1.5hrs. Ha ha! It is good to have a job as we can earn money, make friends and play…..

Sick Again :-(

I was discharged from hospital for a few days. This is the time for soups, long naps, care & concern. Hope I will get well very soon!

Recently, I have started my volunteer work as a docent for Dr Sun Yat-Sen Museum in weekend. I was nervous but excited!

Anniversary

Today is our anniversary but I am not feeling well. I need to cancel the dinner and consult doctor. What a pity!

My Office

Chinese New Year Lunch at Shenzhen

Our company CNY lunch was held at Shenzhen Shangri-la Hotel this year. Over 300 colleagues from Dongguan, Heshan, Shenzhen & Hong Kong offices were invited to join the lunch. We did not need to go for work but need to cross the border to have the lunch.

After the lunch, I went shopping at Dongmen with colleagues. It was my first time to go there. I was nervous about the security as there are some rumors about murder happenings in that area.

I prepared a dinner for 9 persons!
I cooked 1 soup & 8 dishes!
